With September in its sights, Richmond will battle Hawthorn at the MCG on Sunday afternoon.
The Tigers’ latest two fixtures each ended in victory, first overcoming Brisbane 104-97 at the MCG, then hitting the road to defeat Port Adelaide 109-71 at the Adelaide Oval last weekend.
Toby Nankervis was immense in the latter of those results, totalling an equal-career-best 29 disposals, as well as 42 hitouts and eight clearances.
Shai Bolton was also influential, kicking four goals from nine scoring shots.
Elsewhere, the Hawks claimed their fourth win in five matches by overcoming Gold Coast 70-63 in Launceston, led by Jack Gunston’s five-goal performance and Jai Newcombe’s team-high 27 disposals.
These sides last met in Round 9, seeing Richmond record a 117-94 victory behind Dion Prestia’s 28-disposal, eight-clearance display and four goals from Tom Lynch.
The Tigers have lost just one of their last eight against the Hawks.
