The Tigers should have a bit of a chip on their shoulder after falling three points short of Geelong in an instant classic last week.

Richmond lost star midfielder Dion Prestia in the process, but it’s fair to say the Tigers of old have returned after pushing one of the top flag fancies right to the brink.

The Tigers have been an outstanding bounce-back bet for the last five or so years, particularly in recent times playing to a 6-1-3 record head-to-head and an 8-2 record at the line.

West Coast, meanwhile, will be hoping to build on a rare win over Essendon last week at home.

The added inclusion of star ruckman Nic Naitanui is an enormous boost, but it’s hard to entertain any kind of Eagles upset given their awful record away from home this year.

Covering a 30-point line isn’t easy, but for a team like the Tigers, one that ranks third in points and fourth in inside 50s, backing Richmond seems relatively safe this week.
