Race 1 – 12:25PM – Ladbrokes Handicap, (1000m)

Rambeau will take winning form into the first race at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday and I’m happy to stick with him.

The Busuttin & Young-trained gelding has only returned one poor effort in eight since debuting, and he has recorded a couple of handy wins back from a spell this time.

This is another step up in class, but he looks to be up to it.

Race 2 – 1:00PM – Ladbrokes Cash In Handicap, (1000m)

Twist Of Fury looks well placed to record another win at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.

The Written Tycoon filly has recorded two wins from three starts this prep, and her only fail came in a decent Saturday race down the Flemington straight.

A repeat of her last-start effort at Cranbourne would be good enough to see her into the finish of something like this, and she’ll get some relief in the weights under Lachie Neindorf.

Race 3 – 1:35pm – Ladbrokes Switch Handicap, (1400m)

Lulu Darling can continue her rise through the grades at Ladbrokes Park this week.

The Toronado filly showed some ability at the trials prior to debuting and completed a fine start to her career with a lovely win at Ballarat.

She was last seen finishing third, beaten a length and a half in a better race at Caulfield and any improvement would find her extremely difficult to beat.

Race 4 – 2:10pm – Ladbrokes Same Race Multi Handicap, (1600m)

Toomuchtobear can record another win at Ladbrokes Park this week.

The Press Statement gelding finished second at each of his first two starts back this time and charged in to score in maiden company last time.

Craig Williams jumps into the saddle this week, and it looms as a great opportunity for the horse to begin his rise through the grades.

Race 5 – 2:45pm – MRC Membership Renewal Handicap, (1600m)

This shapes as one of the more open races on the card, and a galloper like White Hibiscus has claims on winning.

White Hibiscus returned plenty of pleasing efforts throughout her last prep, winning here and finishing a credible fifth in Saturday company at HQ, and she returned this time for a credible fourth in BM70 company.

She harbours plenty of improvement and can fight out the finish.

Race 6 – 3:20pm – Ladbroke It! Handicap, (1800m)

Hosier has been nothing short of outstanding since arriving in Australia and shapes as a key winning chance at Ladbrokes Park again this week.

The Camelot gelding absolutely destroyed his rivals at Bendigo when fresh and went on with the job at the same course last time, greeting the judge four lengths in the clear.

Fitter third-up, I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again.

Race 7 – 3:55pm – Ladbrokes Punter Assist Handicap, (1400m)

Loveplanet can make a winning return in the penultimate race at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.

The Ocean Park gelding had just three starts during his debut prep, but stamped himself as one to watch by winning twice.

He has reportedly taken plenty of benefit from his time away from racing and under Willo, I’m happy to have something on this week.

Race 8 – 4:30pm – Ladbrokes Bet Ticker Handicap, (1000m)

This is a drop in class for Fast ‘n’ Deep and she can return to winning form.

The Kuroshio mare recorded consecutive wins at Cranbourne two and three starts back and was last seen finishing fourth, beaten just over a length in Saturday company at Caulfield.

She will need some luck in running from barrier 13, but she’ll get some relief in the weights and looks up to the class.
