Southampton are on the board courtesy of a 1-0 win at Burnley – much-needed after losses to Palace (1-0) and Tottenham (5-2). Danny Ings has scored all three of the Saints’ goals so far.
After three-goal losses to Leicester and Everton, promoted West Bromwich Albion banked their first point via a 3-all draw. But they should have had all three points after racing to a 3-0 lead in the first 27 minutes, with Callum Robinson scoring twice. Agonisingly, they conceded the equaliser in stoppage time.
Southampton are on a four-match winning streak against West Brom, but I’ll back the draw in a game between two sides destined to spend the season striving to stay above the bottom-three.
