Sydney is back in the winners circle but will need to improve on their performance against Wellington ahead of their Champions League campaign.
Adelaide has been a tricky out for them this season with the three meetings being split down the middle, a win apiece and a draw in the opening round.
The Reds are winless in their last three games but have been able to stay in fourth spot thanks to the teams below them having longer streaks in place.
