Now they face a possible Grand Final opponent in Perth Glory whose midseason run has well and truly come to an end now.
With one win from their last seven matches in all competitions, the westerners are now in danger of falling out of the top four as the finals approach.
While they are better than their current run of form and have received a short term reprieve for their domestic campaign with the postponement of their Asian Champions League fixtures, I just can’t see them taking anything from this match.
