The first-placed Sydney Sixers take on the second-placed Perth Scorchers in a match which looks to be a tight one on paper. The Sixers were the most consistent team all season while the Scorchers have been unbelievable in the back half of the tournament and look in dangerous form.

The head-to-head scoreline sits at 1-1 this season between these two sides and this looks to be anyone’s match for the taking tonight. The Scorchers will be counting on experienced batsmen in Jason Roy and Colin Munro to perform while the Sixers will be looking to skipper Moises Henriques and T20 international Sean Abbott to lead from the front.

History is also on the Scorchers side, holding an 11-7 overall record against the men in magenta while also winning the last three finals matches against the Sixers. The experience of Jason Roy, Colin Munro, Mitch Marsh and Andrew Tye will be crucial to this Perth side’s chances and I think it will be up to these guys to stand up in the biggest match of the Scorcher’s season.
