Geoff Neal (11-2) vs Niko Price (13-2)

In a card littered with short priced favourites, this fight is no exception. Graduating for the Dana White Contender series, Geoff Neal has handled the step up to the big leagues in impressive fashion. In his three fights for the UFC, he submitted Brian Camozzi with relative ease, knocked out the ultra tough Frank Camacho and most recently outworked Belal Muhammad to a decision victory. He is quickly cementing himself as another prospect in the Welterweight division and although the odds say he should handle this fight easily enough, this could be a tougher test than it appears on paper.

Niko Price possesses a very unorthodox fighting style. Utilising his long reach and striking power, he shows aggression from the opening bell (almost to a fault). His long limbs have caught his opponents out in the past and have shown he can finish the fight from anywhere. None more so than in 2018 when knocking out Randy Brown, throwing hammerfists from his back. He is a heavy hitter but has also shown in the past that he is willing to take the fight to the ground.

When you’ve got two power strikers matching up against each other, it usually dictates a very quick fight one way or another, but I’ve got a feeling this fight won’t be as exciting as most people believe. Neal will recognise the power that Price possesses in his hands and as such, may choose to take a more measured and calculated approach to this bout. He may choose to engage from distance and pick his opponent apart from the outside. Although this might not be the most aesthetically pleasing strategy, it should be a winning one. At the current price, Neal looks a great bet to take this fight to the judges scorecards and record his 4th straight victory.

Bet: Geoff Neal to win by Points ($6.50)
