The announcement from the AFL that all 10 Victorian clubs will be relocating to hubs for the foreseeable future at the end of Round 5 has affected the 2020 AFL premiership market at TAB.
Collingwood has eased as favourites for this season’s flag from $5.50 to $6 before they face Essendon tonight at the MCG.
The Brisbane Lions have played all of their games at the ‘Gabba since the 2020 home-and-away season resumed and have shortened from $9 to $7 to win this season’s premiership based on today’s announcement.
The AFL announcement has also resulted in changes to the top eight market.
Hawthorn ($1.50 to $1.55) and Geelong ($1.60 to $1.65) have drifted slightly in their pursuit of a top eight spot at the end of the 2020 home-and-away season.
