For the first time this season, West Coast are the outright favourites at TAB for the 2020 AFL premiership after their 66-point humbling of Collingwood at Optus Stadium yesterday.
The Eagles – $13 before Round 5 – shortened from $7 to $5 yesterday to displace the Brisbane Lions ($6) as favourites for this year’s flag even though the Lions eked out a four-point win over Melbourne at Metricon Stadium last night.
Collingwood, Port Adelaide and Richmond all eased from $7 to $8 following their Round 8 losses while the Giants firmed from $10 to $9 after their 12-point victory against the Tigers at Giants Stadium last Friday night.
