West Coast has absolutely nothing left to play for at this point, but they should relish the opportunity to play spoiler over these last remaining weeks.

The Eagles fell 35-points shy of Richmond last week at the ‘G, but there’s been strong signs of improvement from Adam Simpson’s men – at least in comparison to their disastrous, injury-ravaged start to the season.

Blues fans have every right to feel good about this game given their 7-2 record against teams currently not inside the eight, but this still has a sniff of danger about it on the road.

Carlton hasn’t won against the Eagles in Perth since way back in 2013, while they also fell 13 points short at the SCG in Round 12 last year.

On the injury front, there are a couple of big returns that should boost both club’s chances.

Key defender Jacob Weitering is set to make a return from a shoulder injury, while the Eagles are also a chance at getting Josh Kennedy back in the side after taking last week off.

Betting wise, the Blues have only covered in three of their last 10 games as the line favourite, which makes them a slightly risky bet laying three goals.

Scoring against West Coast has come easily this season, but with a little confidence back in the side and home-ground advantage, this has trap game written all over it.
