The Dogs have found form right when they needed to and they come into this game having won four of their last five.
They came out victors in a scoring frenzy against GWS last weekend which played perfectly into the hands of their attacking style of play as both Cody Weightman and Aaron Naughton each booted five goals.
Weightman suffered a dislocated elbow and if he was to go for surgery, this may be softened by the possible return of key forward Josh Bruce from an ACL.
Hawthorn has proven they can mix it with some of the best in the comp at times having beaten both Brisbane and Geelong during season 2022.
They are on a three game losing streak, however they were only beaten by Collingwood and Fremantle by four and 13 points respectively.
Both of these teams can move the ball through the middle of the ground at speed and have no problem giving themselves opportunities inside the forward 50.
