Punters support for Winx has gone to a new level with an incredible 99.33 per cent of the single bets in TAB’s all-in market for the Colgate Optic White Stakes on the superstar mare.
The biggest bet TAB has taken on one of Winx’s competitors is just a $30 wager on Unforgotten at $15.
This mirrors the punting pattern from the corresponding race last year when 99.3 per cent of the money was on Winx, who won the race at $1.12.
Aiming for her 27th consecutive victory, Winx firmed from $1.15 to $1.10 following the announcement this morning of the final field.
“The shortest price Winx has jumped with TAB was in this race in 2016 at $1.08,” TAB’s Gerard Middleton said.
“She could well eclipse that this week with more than 99 per cent of the hold so far on the great mare.”
