Sydney Airport will be searching the skies for a new CEO following Kerrie Mather’s decision to step down and there will be no shortage of suitors according to sportsbet.com.au.

  • RARE fund co CEO Richard Elmslie is the early favourite to replace Kerrie Mather.
  • GM’s of Brisbane and Adelaide airports also in the running.
  • Sydney Airport tipped not to accept the tender to build and operate Badgery’s Creek.

The online bookmaker has opened betting on Mather’s replacement and installed RARE fund co CEO Richard Elmslie as the $5.00 favourite.

Andrew Brodie from Brisbane Airport follows at odds of $6.00 ahead of Adelaide Airport GM Emma Boulby on $7.00.

Sportsbet are tipping that Sydney Airport will not take up the option to build and operate Badgery’s Creek at odds of $1.35.

“We’re expecting the betting for the next Sydney Airport to really take off as it’s an open field with plenty of high flying candidates,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
