McDonald’s is taking plastic straws off the menu and replacing with paper straws.

Plastic drink lids are $1.70 favourite to be next to go according to sportsbet.com.au.

KFC is the next in line at $1.82 to ban plastic straws, followed by Hungry Jacks ($4.00) – Donut King is the $21 outsiders.

Maccas is $1,001 to change to environmentally friendly playgrounds and $21 to change burger wrappers…the price of salad containers, to be redressed, is $10.

“It’s great that Maccas is doing something to help the environment and we’re sure the other big chains will follow suit. We’ll have fries with that,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
