After the announcement of squads for the 2020 State of Origin, New South Wales has opened $1.35 favourites at TAB to defeat Queensland ($3.20) in the opening game at the Adelaide Oval on Wednesday, November 4.
In 2018, the Blues clinched the series victory after winning the first two games while last year, they recovered from losing Game 1 at Suncorp Stadium to win the final two games at Optus Stadium and ANZ Stadium.
In regards to the 2020 Origin winner, New South Wales opened $1.45 minutes after winning last year’s series and are now $1.25 favourites.
Almost 85 percent of support from TAB customers has been placed on the Blues, which has resulted in the Maroons drifting from their opening price of $2.75 to $4.
