It’s been a tough year for the Wallabies who line up for their final match of the Spring Tour against England at Twickenham. Punters should be aware that there is a bug reported to be spreading through the Australian camp with up to 10 players and staff sick.

- The Wallabies rebounded from a disappointing 9-6 loss against Wales with an unconvincing 26-7 win over Italy in Padova.
- England went into their match against the Japanese as heavy favourites but needed a second half comeback to win 35-15 at Twickenham. Japan lead 15-10 at half-time.
ENGLAND
Jones ready for to take on ‘street fighter’ Cheika
Manu Tuilagi will not be risked for this match with Eddie Jones assuring fans that whilst he was ‘99.9%’ healthy, he was also ‘very doubtful’ to line up against the Wallabies. It appears that they will wait until the Leicester Tigers star is at full strength before he takes the field…even if that is next summer. Chris Ashton is also out with a calf injury, whilst scrum half Danny Care, centre Alex Lozowski and loose forward Zach Mercer have all been left out of the squad to face the Wallabies.
England are in strong form, going agonisingly close to defeating the All Blacks 16-15 and whilst the Japan game was frustrating, they did make 11 changes to the side. Eddie Jones has an excellent record against the Wallabies, winning all 5 matches against his old side.
AUSTRALIA
Injuries and illness hit the Australian camp
The Wallabies certainly didn’t have it all their own way against the Azzurri but at least they got the win. Let’s focus on the positives and outside back Adam Ashley-Cooper made a sensational comeback in his first test in a couple of years. Mr Reliable set up three tries and his workrate was outstanding. Bernard Foley struggled at inside centre and that position must be sapping his confidence because he is making poor passes, looks rushed and was replaced after 53 minutes.
David Pocock remains doubtful with a neck injury sustained against Italy and whilst Eddie Jones says ‘I hear this every time we play Australia’, it does appear quite serious. When punter’s consider he sustained a similar injury against the All Blacks and was unable to play against the Springboks a few weeks later it is doubtful he will recover in time.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
Australia have won just 4 of their last 12 matches and the Wolf can’t find anything in their current form to suggest they are ready for an upset win. The line however is set at 7.5 points and with Eddie Jones predicting this will be ‘’a good scrap’ this one should be close.
