With one round to go in the 2020 AFL home-and-away season, two finals berths are yet to be secured and St Kilda will be aiming to clinch a spot on Friday night as $1.72 favourites at TAB to defeat Greater Western Sydney ($2.15) at the ‘Gabba.
The Saints were $3.50 before Round 4 to reach the finals while the Giants, last year’s beaten grand finalist, were as short as $1.16 during this season to finish in the top eight.
On Saturday afternoon at Metricon Stadium, Melbourne – $7 before Round 6 to play finals football – are $1.45 favourites at TAB to account for Essendon ($2.75).
If the Demons are victorious, they will be barracking for Fremantle ($2.75) to upset the Western Bulldogs ($1.45) at Cazaly’s Stadium on Sunday night.
Before Round 13 commenced, the Bulldogs were $3.25 to finish in the top eight at the end of the home-and-away season and they currently occupy eighth spot on the ladder after winning three of their last four clashes.
