After taking care of business in Wednesday’s FFA Cup Quarter Final, Sydney FC will look for a January sweep over a Roar side still getting back to full fitness having missed a month’s worth of matches.
Brisbane held out well in the first half but ultimately could not keep out the Sky Blues while their attacking woes from late 2021 popped up again.
Their goalless streak has now reached 380 minutes and shows few signs of ending while the side endures over half a dozen absences for illness, injury and in this case a loan player being ineligible to play against his parent club.
