Adelaide v West Coast | Friday, August 26, 8.10pm (AEDT), Adelaide Oval
The loss of Eagles super ruckman Nic Naitanui has well and truly taken the sting out of West Coast’s late season return to form.
Even though they’re safely in the finals, they’ll probably have to travel for their elimination final if they go down to the Crows.
Adelaide need to win well to snuff out the remote possibility of Geelong snatching second spot with a big win over the Demons.
The Crows’ main midfield man Rory Sloane has been suspended after a careless strike to the head of a Port Adelaide player and they may have to do without running halfback Brodie Smith.
They’re important players and the Crows are often vulnerable after the fierce showdown clashes with crosstown rivals Port.
Last time they met: Rd 12, 2016 – West Coast 76 lost to Adelaide 105
