TAB punters are giving Anthony Mundine a legitimate chance to pull off an upset again Jeff Horn despite going into their fight at Suncorp Stadium on Friday night as the $4.20 rank outsider.
While Horn is the $1.22 favourite, over 30% of the money bet on the head to head market has been for Mundine.
TAB has also opened a market on how the bout will be won, with a KO/TO/DQ/TD to Horn listed as the $2.00 favourite. Mundine’s best chance of winning is by decision which is priced at $6.50.
“When we first opened the market our customers were definitely predicting an upset,” TAB’s Andrew Georgiou said.
“The price on offer for Mundine to cause the upset has been too good for some of our customers not to take.
“In the past 24-48 hours though, our customers have swung towards the corner of Horn.”
