Slated for a move to Hong Kong, the colt has made the most of continued racing opportunities in Australia and only narrowly went down to He’s Our Rokkii in the Carbine Club Stakes on Day One of the Championships.
He’s subsequently thrived since heading back to Melbourne, launching a powerful turn of foot to record a nice win here a fortnight ago and it’s notable that Smerdon has elected to run him in his own age-group in preference to the All Victorian Final earlier on the card.
We’ve already seen plenty of interest for him in pre-post betting and are braced for the money to continue to pour in come race day.
