Sydney’s Kristie Bennett is now odds-on to win Australian Survivor, with her price cut from $3.50 into $1.90 following Barry Lea’s departure.
- Kristie Bennett shortens into $1.90 following Barry Lea’s departure from Australian Survivor.
- Second favourite Lee Carseldine eases to $7.00.
55% of the money is backing Bennett to win, well ahead of second favourite Lee Carseldine who has attracted 20% of the money.
As punters continues to get behind Bennett, Carseldine has eased from $5.00 out to $7.00, but remains the clear second favourite.
Matt Tarrant, Nick Iadanza and Sam Webb are equal third favourites, at $10, but Webb is the only one of the three to shorten following Lea’s exit, in from $12, with Tarrant and Iadanza both drifting from $7.50.
Melbourne firefight Kylie Evans has slipped in the betting, out from $9.00 to $16, with tribe-swapping Canberra law student Conner Bethune also drifting from $21 to $26.
“Five contestants have now gone, with punters continuing to throw their support behind Sydney’s Kristie Bennett. Bennett has streaked clear of the field following Trevor Lea’s departure and its now considered a better than even money chance of claiming Australian Survivor,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Bulmer.
