New Zealand’s fast start to the World Cup came as no surprise, but Bangladesh’s certainly has. An upset win over South Africa sees Bangladesh in the top half of the standings, although Steve Rhodes’ side will need to be at their best on Wednesday night against one of the world’s top bowling attacks. The Kiwis bring a great mix of spin and pace, but Shakib Al Hasan should be up for the challenge. Playing in his 200th ODI, the 32-year-old has been brilliant since moving up the order. Hasan put up 75 runs on the Proteas last week, only a fortnight after scoring 61 against the West Indies in a warm-up match. Hasan is one of the most accomplished batsman in the Bangladesh side, so back him to rack up another high total.
