The 11-11 Bullets have won their last three, backing up wins over the Wildcats and Breakers with a 29-point beatdown of the Hawks. Brisbane have crafted an impressive 7-3 record at home and sit fifth on the ladder, behind United only on percentages.
The 9-13 Phoenix are second-last; a win here is imperative. A pair of losses to heavyweights the Wildcats (97-71) and Kings (98-81) has put the NBL’s newcomers on the ropes. The Phoenix are just 3-8 on the road – though one of those was in Brisbane.
The Phoenix have won both of their games against the Bullets to date comfortably. They romped to a 113-93 home win in Week 2, before carving out a 110-95 away result in Round 9. But the trajectory of both teams’ seasons have reversed since then and the Bullets should be able to cover against the out-of-sorts Phoenix.
