With the runs on the board and on what is sure to be a chilly night in the nation’s capital, the Brumbies are very firm $1.20 favourites to defeat the Western Force ($4.50) and progress to next weekend’s decider.
As that would suggest, the Brumbies have won both of their matches with the Force this season, running out 27-11 victors in Week 1 and 42-14 in Week 6.
They will field a typically strong side on Saturday night, while the Force will be without the services of Tevita Kuridrani, who has been suspended for his dangerous tackle on Hunter Paisami last weekend.
I’m confident that the Force will bring plenty of heart into this match, but there is every chance that they played their final last week and with a couple of key players missing, I’m not sure they’re equipped to compete with the Brumbies for the full eighty.
