This is a must-win game for the now second-placed Central Coast Mariners, as it is for Sydney FC but they aren’t as fun.
The Cinderella team of the season has only won once out of their last six – splitting the points in three of those occasions and coming off a 1-0 loss to Western United down in Tassie last week.
Neutral fans want the Mariners to do well, but they desperately need to recapture the form we saw from this loveable outfit earlier in the season.
Sydney FC has had no losses in their past four games and currently sit fourth on the A-League table, timing their run well towards the business end but can be very hit and miss at times.
