Australia’s Daniel Ricciardo is holding the most money at TAB to win this year’s Formula 1 Championship.
The F1’s get their season underway this weekend in Bahrain and Ricciardo is considered a $26 chance to not only win the race, but win the championship too in his inaugural season with McLaren after spending two seasons with Renault.
It is no surprise to see Ricciardo holding the most money in both the championship and Bahrain race markets at this point considering TAB’s customers are fairly parochial.
Investments on Ricciardo account for 30 percent of the money in the championship market. Seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton is next best supported with 28 percent of the money riding on him while Max Verstappen is next best with 24 percent.
