Someones miserable season is about to end on a high note when the winless Suns host the winless Cats as part of an AFLW/AFL doubleheader at Metricon Stadium.
This is actually a good betting match, with the Suns favourite at $1.60 but the Cats are a value play at $2.30 head to head.
The Gold Coast Suns were blown away by Carlton, copping a 60-point thrashing and having the largest AFLW score kicked against them.
However, they did outscore Geelong last week who booted 1-3 (8) in a sluggish arm wrestle against GWS (the Giants total 2-4 (16))
Season 2021 has been horrible for both of these teams but the oppurtunity to finish it off will hopefully give us a good contest.
However, the Suns appear to have been more competivie during the season along with playing at home and can avoid the wooden spoon finsihing off 2021 with a win.
