The Raptors took advantage of the rusty Warriors in Game 1 of the Finals, defeating them by nine points (118-109) at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Kawhi Leonard was quieter than usual but still finished with 23 points and eight rebounds, while Pascal Siakam was tremendous with 32 points on a highly efficient 14/17 shooting. For the Warriors, Steph Curry was the only consistent threat on offence and finished with 34 points, while Draymond Green had a triple double (10/10/10). It’ll be interesting to see the adjustments Warriors head coach Steve Kerr makes for Game 2, particularly on the defensive end where they consistently gave up open three-point looks. The task looks like it might be even harder in Game 2 however, with Andre Igoudala listed as a game time decision due to injuring his calf late in the fourth quarter of Game 1. With Iggy questionable, Kevin Durant still out and DeMarcus Cousins out of shape, we can’t see the Warriors winning Game 2 in Toronto.
