The Crusaders haven’t looked overly impressive during Super Rugby Aotearoa to date, but they are still unbeaten and they will start this clash with the Highlanders as clear favourites.
The Crusaders have won seven of their past eight games against the Highlanders and the majority of those wins have been by healthy margins.
They have won eight of their past nine games as favourites and they have covered the line in nine of their past 12 games against the Highlanders as the punter’s elect.
The Highlanders were not disgraced against the Blues last weekend and scoring points has not been a problem for them this season.
Defence continues to be an issue though and it is easy to see them leaking plenty of points against the Crusaders.
The Crusaders should win this clash comfortably and I don’t think that the line of 10.5 points will be enough.
