The Hobart Hurricanes will begin their BBL 9 campaign at home on Friday afternoon and have their work cut out for them in the form of smart first-up winners the Sydney Sixers. We take a look at Friday’s (20/12/2019) BBL Big Bash 2019/2020 match which is between the Hobart Hurricanes and Sydney Sixers.

Preview:
The Hurricanes boast one of the best all-round squads in the BBL, combining quality internationals with some of Austrlia’s best short-form specialists, namely D’Arcy Short. If their top order gets going, they are every chance of posting an unmatchable score every time they play.
The Sixers could hardly have been more impressive in their campaign opener against the Perth Scorchers, but the Hurricanes shape as a completely different challenge, as does playing away from the SCG.
Josh Philippe is clearly a star and I’m confident that he can produce a similar knock to that which heralded 81 on Wednesday night.

Tip: Hobart Hurricanes $1.84
