I would absolutely hate to be on the Hurricanes squad in Round 7 of Super Rugby Aotearoa.
Not only do they enter the week locked on the bottom of the ladder, but they are charged with facing an angry Crusaders outfit, whose regular dominance will only be enhanced by last week’s shock loss to the Highlanders.
They’re lucky to have gotten off the mark and quite frankly, the end of the season cannot arrive quickly enough for the Hurricanes.
Score and result aside, it really was the worst performance that the Crusaders have mustered in recent memory, and the chances of them repeating it two weeks in a row are slim to none.
More than happy to stick with the reigning champions.
