Illawarra’s only win so far came at home over the Taipans a fortnight ago, but as the market suggests, this is still a tremendous ask against the reigning champs.
The Wildcats have won four of their last five games over the Hawks, but Illawarra did get the better of Perth at home last season. Even so, nothing about the Hawks defensively screams they are capable of handling Perth right now.
