The Victory are back in Geelong, looking to put their best foot forward to the people of Geelong before the new Western United side plays there starting next season.
With an outside shot (at best) of the Premiership, the Victory needs to pick up points to keep the pressure on Sydney in their race for second spot.
Victory defender Georg Niedermeier will be suspended after his derby red card, but his likely replacement James Donachie is a more than capable fill in as the home side looks for their first clean sheet since January 15.
It won’t come easy however with the Jets scoring 9 goals in their last three games but against the Victory they have really struggled with three straight losses.
