Both sides go into this clash having come off big wins last weekend and have booked their place in the finals.
Melbourne just keep proving their critics wrong, notching up some big wins over the likes of Adelaide and Fremantle over the past fortnight and their place in the top six is assured.
The Demons were mighty impressive last Sunday in Fremantle, and after leading by four goals at half-time were able to hold off a Dockers comeback to register a thrilling five point win.
Brisbane currently sit on top of the AFLW ladder, their place in the finals is assured and very much looked the goods with a commanding win over North Melbourne.
The Lions have a healthy percentage and can book themselves a home Preliminary Final if they get the job done over the Demons.
A loss could see them drop out of the top-two depending on results.
There has been so much to like year in, year out about the Brisbane Lions since the AFLW inception and one could argue seaosn 2021 has been there best.
I’m not sure if the Dees can be giant-killers three weeks running and with the carrot of a home Prelim on the cards, I’ll back the Lions in this one.
