Melbourne United ($3.30), Sydney ($4.00) and Perth ($4.33) head betting for the NBL season which gets underway tomorrow, but it’s Adelaide and Brisbane that punters have been putting their money on in the pre-season.

The 36ers opened at $18 with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au, but more than one-quarter of all bets have been placed on them, forcing Adelaide’s price into $8.00.
The Bullets are back in the NBL and were originally the rank outsiders at $67, but as their roster has built up, their price has tumbled into $6.50.
Cairns are the new outsiders to win the title at $21, but are the third best backed side having come in from as much as $36.
