Opening Day brings up a lot of question marks for both the defending champion Toronto Raptors and New Orleans Pelicans. There’s no Kawhi Leonard for the home side and the Pelicans shipped Anthony Davis to the Lakers. So the Wolf is expecting growing pains for both sides in the early stages of season 2019/2020, especially offensively. Kawhi was basically unstoppable in the Raptors playoff run last season and it’s going to be a tough void to fill. Meanwhile, New Orleans will miss Zion Williamson after his preseason knee injury. With the Davis trade, they picked up the likes of Ball, Ingram (Lakers) and Favors (Jazz). So it’s likely going to take this team a while to gel together. So with a few unknowns for either side, the Wolf is liking the chances of the Under in this one.

The Pelicans record in Toronto is quite good (4-1-1 ATS) and the no Kawhi factor should give them the confidence of an upset or keeping this close throughout. In fact, New Orleans did beat Toronto 126-110 last November and they did cover in 11 of their last 16 road games last season.
