North Queensland Cowboys vs New Zealand Warriors Preview
The North Queensland Cowboys and the New Zealand Warriors will face each other at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Saturday afternoon after suffering defeats in Round 2. The Cowboys lost their Queensland derby against the Broncos, giving up an early lead and losing key players Scott Drinkwater and Peta Hiku to multi-week suspensions. Tom Chester will replace Drinkwater at fullback, while Gehamat Shibasaki will make his Cowboys debut, taking Hiku?s spot in the centres. The Warriors were gutsy in their 20-12 loss to the Roosters but committed 10 errors, extending their losing streak in Australia to 13 matches. With Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad ruled out through concussion, Taine Tuaupiki will make his debut at fullback. Jackson Ford has also been ruled out after a head knock last week, moving Bunty Afoa into the starting pack and Bayley Sironen to the interchange.
