Patrick Dangerfield’s odds shorten to win Brownlow Medal 2019

Patrick Dangerfield firms to $2.50 with TAB to win the Brownlow Medal as Geelong secured the AFL minor premiership with a 69-point win over Carlton.

• The Western Bulldogs drifted to as much as $251 before Round 15 to win the premiership and $17 to make the Top 8. They are now at $13 with TAB.
• Prior to Round 1 the Brisbane Lions were $8 to make the top 4 and after 16 wins and 6 losses they finished second on the AFL ladder.
• Starting the season as premiership favourites, Richmond’s mid-season slump saw them balloon out to $17 before Round 15 to win the Grand Final. They have since firmed to $3 with TAB.
• After winning three games in a row earlier this year Gold Coast were $7 outsiders to have the most losses this season. However, the Suns managed to lose every game from Round 5 to finish last on the ladder.
• The once fancied flag favourites Melbourne were as short as $1.20 to make the top 8 after reaching the preliminary final last year. They went on to finish 17^th.
• Heading into the final Round, North Melbourne’s Ben Brown was as short as $1.10 to win the Coleman Medal. GWS forward Jeremy Cameron was at $6 with TAB.
