The second Game of the 2019 State Of Origin series will be played on Sunday night (23/6/2019) at Optus Stadium in Perth. Preview:
The teams have been announced for this weekends State Of Origin Game 2 match between the Maroons and the Blues.
The Maroons got the job done at home in Game 1 and will be out to seal the series in Perth on Sunday night but the bookmakers have it as a flip of the coin with both teams at the same odds.
Queensland arguably should have won Game 1 by more than the eventual margin after they made some costly errors throughout the match and we think at the odds and based on the first match they are the team to beat.
Obviously it looks a very close game on paper and we expect that to be the case with the match probably coming down to who handles the travel the best and starts the fastest.
We have Queensland on top but no real confidence in the match with either team looking backable.
