The 2020 Suncorp Super Netball season is starting later than expected due to the coronavirus, but the competition is set to commence on Saturday afternoon with the New South Wales Swifts $2.75 favourites at TAB to win the title.
The reigning champions will begin their premiership defence on Sunday afternoon as $1.48 favourites against Giants Netball ($2.60).
The opening clash of the 2020 Suncorp Super Netball season sees two-time champions Sunshine Coast Lightning $1.18 favourites to defeat the Queensland Firebirds ($4.70).
After that encounter, the West Coast Fever are $1.48 favourites to account for the Adelaide Thunderbirds ($2.60).
Following the fixture between the Swifts and Giants, the Victorian teams close out the first round with the Melbourne Vixens $1.25 favourites to beat the Collingwood Magpies ($3.75).
All games in the opening round will be held at Nissan Arena in Brisbane.
