It’s win or go home on Wednesday night as the Sixers and the Strikers fight for the right to face the Scorchers in the BBL11 Final.
The Sixers lost to Perth by 49 runs on Saturday, but I think they’ll prove tough to beat here with home-field advantage.
Sydney has played to a steady 3-1 record on the back of a loss over the last 12 months, while it’s also worth noting that the Strikers haven’t beaten the Sixers at the SCG since 2018.
To be fair, the Strikers defeated the Sixers just over a week ago at the Adelaide Oval, but that result largely boiled down to an uncharacteristic performance from Daniel Hughes and Mosies Henriques.
On paper, these two sides are very evenly matched, but if Sydney’s middle order comes through, I think the Sixers find themselves back on the big stage.
