At the start of the season TAB listed Geelong star Tim Kelly at $34 to win the AFL Brownlow Medal, however, after averaging 29 disposals a game the youngster is now equal favourite at $4.50 with Carlton’s Patrick Cripps.

- Sydney started the AFL season at $1.90 to make the top 8, however, poor performances saw the Swans drift to $17 to play in September. A recent season revival though has them at $6.
- TAB’s next loss market for Geelong opened at $34. However, after a favourable fixture and consistent performances, the Cats are at $10 to remain undefeated for the rest of the Home and Away season.
- Geelong’s Tom Hawkins was at $26 to win the Coleman Medal prior to Round 8 as leader Jeremy Cameron moved clear by 14 goals. Hawkins is now only 5 goals behind Cameron and has firmed to $2.25.
- Geelong were priced at $7 to be Minor Premieres prior to Round 1, however, after losing only one game so far this season to GWS by 4-points they are clear favourites at $1.05.
