The world is waiting for Donald Trump to be let off his leash to give Hillary Clinton a public grilling and punters are backing him to come out on top.
- Donald Trump’s odds to win the first TV debate cut from $2.00 into $1.85 favourite.
- Hillary Clinton expected to perform worse with her odds drifting from $1.85 out to $2.00.
- Three times more money is currently backing Trump to win the debate than Clinton.
Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au is taking bets on who will win the first Presidential TV debate and Trump has attracted three times more money than Clinton.
As a result their odds have flipped with Trump now the $1.85 favourite to win the debate and Clinton out to $2.00.
Trump has also made inroads in the race to win the Presidency where he is now a $2.60 chance while Clinton remains a $1.55 chance.
“Initially we thought Hillary has enough experience over Donald to win this one but the punters certainly disagree and think the motor mouth is going to win so big,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
