We’re back to the famed Augusta National from Thursday night AEDT for the 85th edition of The Masters.
The world’s best golfers will seek their place in the history books, their share in a particularly lucrative purse and perhaps most importantly, a coveted green jacket.
Defending champion Dustin Johnson has opened our $9 favourite in The Masters betting ahead of the big-hitting Bryson DeChambeau, Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas, all tied at $11.
You can take advantage of a variety of The Masters betting markets here at Neds, including everything from tournament winner to match betting and player multis!
Check out our complete US Masters Tips below, including our picks to win the tournament and where we think the value lies!
Dustin Johnson (Outright $9)
DJ finally broke through for his first win at Augusta National at last year’s delayed US Masters, and he is capable of defending the green jacket this week.
Given last year’s tournament was delayed until November, Johnson hasn’t played as much golf as a Masters Champion generally would before his defence.
His recent efforts are highlighted by a credible T8 at the Genesis Invitational, and while I think he’ll have to go to another level on what he has been doing in 2021 to win, there’s value in backing him for a Top 10 finish.
Tips: Back Dustin Johnson to win ($9) and to finish in the Top 10 ($1.83)
Brooks Koepka (Outright $23)
Four-time major champion Brooks Koepka is one of the world’s coolest golfers under pressure and he represents value in The Masters betting at $23 to win the tournament, but also $3.50 to finish in the Top 10.
Koepka has found slick form in the lead-up to The Masters this year, winning the Waste Management Phoenix Open in February and finishing T2 at the Workday Championship at The Concession most recently.
He is playing with plenty of swagger and arguably hasn’t looked better placed to be fitted for a maiden green jacket – I’ll be placing a couple of bets on the world number 11.
Tips: Back Brooks Koepka to Win ($23) and to finish in the Top 10 ($3.50)
Collin Morikawa (Outright $26)
World number 4 Collin Morikawa is chasing his second win at a major this week and represents a winning chance at The Masters 2021.
Morikawa finished T44 at The Masters in November, and has returned many eye-catching efforts in the wake, highlighted by his win at the Workday Championship at The Concession in late February.
His breakthrough win at last year’s PGA Championship was dominant and impressive, and he can continue his rise towards the world’s top ranking with another big performance in Georgia.
Tips: Back Collin Morikawa to Win ($26) and to finish in the Top 10 ($3.50)
Cameron Smith (Outright $34)
Cameron Smith has usurped both Jason Day and Adam Scott as Australia’s best golfer, and he is primed for another big performance at The Masters this week.
Having gone agonizingly close to his first major win behind finishing T2 behind DJ here in November, Smith has continued to impress the golfing world and stamp himself as a player of the future this year.
The twenty-seven-year-old’s consistency is the key to his success, and he represents real value across the board again in US Masters betting.
Tips: Back Cameron Smith to finish in the Top 10 ($4) and the Top 20 ($2.20)
Abraham Ancer (Outright $67)
As they typically do, the winning chances run deep in the 2021 US Masters field, and I’m confident that Abraham Ancer represents outstanding value.
Ancer has been busy since finishing T13 at The Masters in November, and while he had yet to win a tournament in 2021, he has been a model of consistency recently.
He is an exceptional talent and a major win well looks to be just around the corner – I’d hate to miss the price if he pulls it off this week!
Tips: Back Abraham Ancer to finish in the Top 20 ($3)
