At time of publish, the punters cannot split both the Nix and Roar heading into Sunday’s clash with both sides $2.55 head to head.
Wellington will go into this game coming off a 4-3 loss to the Western Sydney Wanderers in one of the games of the year and will be hoping their old mate – the VAR doesn’t interfere with their chances this time.
VAR heartbreak aside, the Nix should take enough confidence heading into this game against the Roar having won two out of their last three and could look to surpass Brisbane Roar on the A-Leauge table if they were able to get the full three points.
After a brilliant start to the season, Brisbane Roar has put in some really poor performances recently and have gone without a win in their past six games.
It’s hard to be inspired by them, especially given the fact they haven’t scored in four out of their last six matches and I can’t quite get the logic as to why they are equal favourites with the Nix.
Then again, this is the A-League and all sorts of crazy shenanigans have happened on the pitch this season, so I’m backing the draw.
