Western Bulldogs vs North Melbourne Kangaroos Preview
The Bulldogs could potentially move into the top spot on the ladder this week if results go their way.
Fresh from a big win over West Coast last week in Perth, Luke Beveridge’s side now set their sights on the wooden spoon favourites in what is no doubt a very favourable matchup at Marvel against North.
The Roos managed to build on their honourable loss against Brisbane to win their second game of the season against the Suns last week, but this is obviously a huge step up in class against a premiership – not that North fans need any reminding.
The Roos lost by a historic 128-point margin when these two sides met back in Round 3, which not surprisingly, has left the line at a very casual -50.5 points in favour of the Dogs.
North has definitely played some much better footy since then, but the back-line is likely in for another tough day after Josh Bruce kicked 10 on them last time they met.
Long lines like this always make you nervous, but after beating West Coast by over 50 points last week on the road, there’s no reason the Dogs can’t do the same here.
